The Drashing Barn is a 600 year old Thrashing Barn made of cob, with excellent views over gardens, farmland and the Alphinbrook Valley. The modern facilities include 3 bedrooms (one en-suite) sleeping 6 people with separate bath and en-suite shower room. This self-catering cottage has a fully equipped kitchen including microwave oven and automatic washing machine. The large lounge has the original beamed ceiling a slit window and comes equipped with colour TV. Outside, there is a walled garden with table and chairs. All services are included, as is bed linen. This cottage is part of Hayne Barton, a grade 2 listed farm dating from 1086 (The Domesday Book) with 16 acres of gardens, fields, streams and woodland. It is only 4 miles from the beautiful and romantic Cathedral City of Exeter, with both the sea and Dartmoor only a short drive away. On the farm there are sheep and horses, while in the woods badgers, foxes and even deer can be seen. For the ornithologists amongst you, owls, buzzards and other species of birds can be sighted. Well behaved pets are welcome.
